Our award recognizes companies that pursue responsible working practices by using environmentally friendly materials, implementing sustainable manufacturing processes and supporting local communities. To avoid modern slavery and forced labor in countries that are beyond our control, we want to track every product and establish transparent production chains. That's why we focus on production in Europe, where we can understand and monitor working conditions. In other countries and continents, this is not always possible. More than 20% of textiles and food produced globally come from forced labor and modern slavery.
